Barnardos needed an engaging and credible identity for an online safety programme aimed at digitally native young people. Existing approaches were not connecting, and the challenge was to make a complex topic feel relevant, accessible and empowering, while maintaining the trust and authority of the organisation.

A gaming-inspired campaign identity was developed around the idea of Power in Play, reframing online safety skills as tools for confidence rather than restriction. Motion, progression and familiar digital cues were introduced to create a sense of engagement and momentum throughout the experience. The resulting system supports the full ten-module programme and provides a contemporary, youth-focused framework that helps young people build real digital confidence.
